I'll be graduating with a 2:1 in a few weeks time! Honestly, the last few years have been so up and down and I'm really happy to have achieved a (high!) 2:1 and get so much experience that'll help me with work on top of that.

I kinda knew anyway, but the official result also makes it official that I'll be accepted onto the PGCE course - a new, exciting chapter!

I'm here!

Hi! How are you all? Sorry that I haven't been around much over the last week - things have been crazy busy my end work-wise.

I've made a start on the essay that's due in next week but I'm a bit stressed out now because, due to a strike that's happening, I have to hand it in on Monday instead of Wednesday and I only found this out a few days ago. I had to go into uni yesterday (my usual day off) for a seminar that was moved for this week - it was interesting because I gave our group's presentation and our seminar tutor seemed quite impressed with what we'd done so it helped my confidence and was probably worthwhile. But I was literally in the seminar for 30 mins and then it was done so getting the buses to and from town and making the effort to go in was a bit of a pain. Today's kind of similar - I have a lecture at 11-12 then, because the seminar was moved, nothing until 3 so I'm going to come home and then go back in again.

What else is happening? Oh, this round of [livejournal.com profile] leverageland is drawing to a close - only a few more days left, really. It'll probably be good to have a break and recharge but I'm a little bit sad because I've loved trying new things and hanging out with awesome people over the past few months. Still, it isn't too long until the next one starts up :)

It's weird not having an episode of SPN to look forward to this week (although it's probably a good thing  - I'll not get distracted from my essay!) Still, one of my friends who is still on S6 made me laugh; I woke up this morning with his reaction to The French Mistake all over my facebook wall - really made me smile :)

I'm really looking forward to Christmas now! I know it's a bit early but town is very Christmas-y at the moment; there's a continental market on which is really cool and there's so much awesome food and it feels all seasonal. Just a note relating to that (sort of), I'm going to be putting up the Christmas prompt post one more time when I get home tonight so if you haven't already left me a prompt and would like to please stop by - I really like being able to write things for you guys as a way of saying thank you for being here for me. I know that at least a few of you who normally ask for one haven't commented yet so I thought I'd put up another reminder just in case! (Or if you'd rather comment now before you forget or something, feel free to leave a prompt here. I'll write something for any of the fandoms I write in, I'll write sequels/same verse fics to stories I've already written -my masterpost is at the top of my journal - or completely new prompts.)

I woke up far too early this morning - could have had an extra hour in bed! Oh well, I have an hour of fic-reading time instead!

Hey all!

The last few days have been really quite busy for me, yesterday in particular. Yesterday I had two mock exams which I think went well (I'll find out my mark for one of them today) and then I had a tutorial thing at the university.

The thing at the uni went really well. I met up with a girl that I'd been talking to on facebook before hand and we went for some coffee with some of her friends who all seemed friendly. At the uni, I got given my provisional timetable for the summer school - it's, erm, pretty full and i think it's going to be intense but I'm really looking forward to it, too. It's going to mean that when I start in September I'll already know some people and I'll know the way around campus and how to use the facilities and stuff. Plus, I'll have had a bit of a headstart with the work.

Today I have to pop into school for a few minutes this afternoon to pick some work up - it will seriously take me more time to walk there and back than it will to do the things I need to do there which is kind of annoying but never mind. Apart from that my plan for today is to revise, beta-read and write.

Sorry that my posts at the moment aren't exactly interesting - so much of my time now is taken up with revision so I'm not getting the chance to read or watch anything, really. I promise they'll get better after exams :D

Hope you're all well!

*waves* Hope you're all well :D

Okay. So, I went to an Open Day yesterday and now I'm back to square one with degree decisions. I was so set on the Combined Honours and I still really want to do it.

But, at the uni yesterday the English Lit and Creative Writing course sounded PERFECT. As did the English and History course. I've still got another two Open Days to attend as well so I'll probably find even more things that I want to do. I had a good day though. My Mum and I went to the Open Day in the morning and then we went and had some lunch.

I'm helping out at the church fair today; the Brownies do something for it every year. I'd really prefer to just stay home and write though. I've got so much to do and, at the moment, I'm just procrastinating. I'm going to try and get at least three chapters written when I get home.

The thing is, I really want to write but I keep getting distracted by Big Bang and other fics/posts. Hmmm.
