Depressing post is depressing (with a sprinkle of fic as well)

Okay, so I'm pretty disappointed today. It's Remembrance Sunday and we went to the beach this morning; the amount of people who weren't wearing poppies was just - and there's no other word for it - disgusting. At 11, there was us, another group of people and a couple who actually bothered to stop and observe the silence. I just, there's no respect any more. I mean, fuck, people gave their lives for us, are still giving their lives for us and people can't even be bothered to stay quiet for two minutes. It really, really annoys me.

Apart from that, this morning was nice. We spent ages down on the beach and then we got breakfast at this beach-side cafe. I messed around in the sea with Kizzie for a bit - she likes it when I splash her :)

I've started working on a fic set during season six of Supernatural, I'll post a bit of it here, now. But yeah, be careful if you're trying to avoid spoilers:

I really, really want to develop one of my orginal stories, too. But I'm not sure whether I can. I wrote it for one of my GCSE coursework pieces and I'm not sure what the rules are about using it :( It's the piece that I got my username from - the main character is called Theron. I'm really tempted to try and look at the rules and find out whether I can use it. Anyone got any idea whether I'd be allowed to? See, I can't really see why not because it's my own writing but I want to be sure.

Beta anyone?

Is anyone up for beta-reading a short Supernatural fic? It's just under 2000 words and it's kind of Sam/Dean but not totally Sam/Dean. I guess it's more pre-slash than anything. It's definitely got spoilers for season six but I think that's all of the warnings I need to give.

I have to say, I should use writing as therapy more often because this flowed really well :)
