Hey everyone. How are you all doing today? Good, I hope.

I kind of just realised that I haven't done any revision today so guess what I'm doing tonight! I got totally distracted trying to code my big bang. Guys, I think that the thing I hate most in the world is HTML. I just can't use it. I spent the whole afternoon trying to but in the end I've had to cheat and use rich text a bit too because I just couldn't do it :/ I think it still looks okay and I've managed to include the wonderful art by tinkabell007 so hopefully everything will be okay.

I'm feeling kind of nervous about posting now. There's going to be a lot of people reading these fics, you know? And this is the first time I've taken part so I'm just hoping people will like it.

Keeping with the writing theme, I wrote a oneshot yesterday so I'm wondering whether anyone would beta it for me. It's a Sam/Dean fic, about 2.5k and there isn't a great deal of hurry to get it back to me straight away or anything.

I'm back in school for a couple of hours for revision sessions tomorrow but I'm still off for most of the day so I'm going to really try and work hard during the day and then I can have the night off again. Honestly, though, I feel like I know this exam already and that I don't need to do much revision. And then that makes me feel awful because it sounds like I'm being arrogant - I just honestly feel confident with the material and I feel like I've worked hard all year with this subject and now I haven't got much left to do.

I think I penciled in an afternoon off on my revision timetable for Friday so I'll finally be able to catch up on BB fics and all the other fics people on my flist have posted. I hate not being able to keep up with everything at the moment!

• My revision still seems to be going okay. I did some this morning before school and I'm going to do some more tonight after we've eaten. I did realise, though, that I only have seventeen days until the history exam which is kind of scary!
• Is there anyone who's willing to beta a Sam/Dean fic for me? It's 1,300 words and, although it's set post-6.22, it only has very vague spoilers for some stuff that happened earlier in the season. I'd like someone who can look at content as well as grammar stuff for this one, please :)
• lightthesparks is a massive enabler who is totally bribing me to write two fics - one shortish, one much longer - by promising me art :) Not that I'm complaining because the plot ideas are awesome. I wrote about 2k  about 3k now of the longer fic today so I'm happy with how that's progressing.
• I have more of idea about what I'm writing for thebigbangjob  now - I know it's early in the game but does anyone know if they'll be able to beta it for me? Or does anyone fancy talking plot ideas and we can cheerlead for each other :) And I'll totally repay the beta-reading favour/write fic in return.
• I got rained on a lot walking home and then the second I walked in the house the sun came out and it stopped. So me = soaked and angry at the weather :) But, you know, new philosophy and all that. If it was meant to be, it was meant to be and I'm just going to keep smiling!
• Oh, one last thing - do any of you on here watch Home and Away? I promise you that there's a reason for this question :)

How are you all today? I hope the weather where all of you are is as nice as it is here today. (Except that I just looked out of the window and there are black clouds in the sky - it's going to pour down again!)

So, the big bang reveals have been posted and I'm pleased to tell you that the artist I'm working with is tinkabell007 . I'm looking forward to getting to know her and to seeing the art :)

I managed to get roped into helping with our leavers yearbook today. I was asked to help in such a flattering way (seeing as you're a good writer....you've got time on your hand's because you're a good student) that I couldn't really say no. I don't know, I kind of wanted to help out anyway but I had decided not to because, actually, I don't really have time on my hands with revision and writing and doing my leadership qualification. Still, it might be fun. I just need to try and remember things that happened in Year 8 now so that I can write about them.

Eeek, and it just thundered.

My revision officially started today and I got a bit done - have more pencilled in to do later tonight. During my breaks, I've been working more on the J2 guitar fic - it's almost done now so is anyone willing to beta it for me? It's going to be NC-17, at least 4k but probably no longer than 5k and there are two sex scenes.

I'm almost at the end of 'The Fellowship of the Ring', as in, I have two chapters left to read. I'm still enjoying it, looking forward to reading the next one.

So, my big bang is still going quite well - I'm now finding it much easier to find the time to write and to actually get the writing done (although, yeah, I'm supposed to be doing my coursework as I write this post!) Anyway, I'm not ready for it beta-read yet but I want to kind of get a feel for who might be willing to beta for me. Ideally, I'd love it if I could get two betas for this one because, you know, it's my first 20k big bang and it's also my first J2 longfic.

Some things you should know about the fic:

-It's a J2AU involving books

-I don't think it's going to be much over the 20k so, in big bang terms, there isn't lots and lots to beta.

I don't really want to give too much else away but obviously I can give you more details if you think you can help :) I'm hoping to have it written by the end of March.

Does anyone fancy beta-reading a Leverage fic for me? It's an Eliot/Hardison one-shot. I'd really, really appreciate it :)

It feels like ages since I've updated properly. How are you all?

So, it’s Monday again but I don’t have to go in for my first class until 1. I’m going to go in a bit earlier so that my friend isn’t alone for lunch. And then Kizzie’s going to the vets for some injections at 4. It really doesn’t feel as though I’ve only been back at school for three days. I really need to work hard this year though.

The thing is, I did work hard last year – harder than a lot of people who did better than me which is really frustrating. I’m doing three re-sits in January as well as my A2 English Lit exam. If I do well in the Lit then that will really help reduce my workload for the summer. The English department have decided to put my paper in for a remark as well so I really hope that my marks go up. And I really, really hope that my marks don’t go down.

My writing’s coming on quite well; I’ve got more than 4k of my loveyoulikesin story written now. The idea had changed a little bit but it’s still a S5 AU. Is anyone interested in beta-reading it for me? I’d really love someone who is able to do a really thorough beta looking at characterisation, plot, spelling and grammar. And someone who can pick out British/American word differences would be good as well. (I know, I’m asking for a lot. I just really want this fic to be good. I’m really invested in this one now.)

I’m really looking forward to season six of Supernatural now – I miss my weekly fix! And I’m missing new Leverage episodes too.
