Hey everyone! I'm happy to report that I'm no longer hungover and that that essay got sent off yesterday which means I'm now free for the summer! (Although my Mum's had me on kitchen cleaning duty this morning so I'm not sure whether that constitutes as free...)

Some of you might have noticed that I posted The Underwritten Character Meme yesterday. I mentioned this idea a little while ago so it's nice to have it posted. This round is focusing on John and I know for a fact that there are some John fans out there so feel free to go and prompt (and fill!) There are only 9 prompts so far so it'd be good to get a bit more traffic.

I watched some more The Mentalist season one yesterday - it was nice to see Seb Roche in there although, to be honest, I just could take his character seriously because I kept imagining Balthazar posing as a Russian gangster!

I promised a proper update so here it is :)

This past week has been a LOT of FUN. I was really looking forward to it beforehand but it's even better than I thought it would be. I only began actual subject seminars on Wednesday but we've already had nine sessions and I enjoyed every single one of them. I think I'm going to break this down into a few sections so that if you're only interested in certain things you can just skip to those bits!

I'm very, very tired! On Wednesday I was out in seminars and then at the quiz from 9.30 till 11. Then yesterday I was in from 9.30 - 5 without any breaks apart from lunch then straight to Brownies for 6. Next week's timetable is a bit quieter, I think.

My sister and I are going into town later to go shopping for presents for my mum (it's her birthday on Thursday.) K might be meeting us to go for pizza (fingers crossed!)
I'm going to postpone the memes etc until summer school is over because I'm not sure when I'll be able to get online etc.

Today has been so awesome so far :) It's really warm outside so I've been sitting out there reading The Two Towers. I'm about half of the way through now and still really enjoying it. I'm so glad I'm getting time to read it now! It was nice to sit outside in the sun - I never tan, though! I just freckle :) I really hope it's as warm as this tomorrow so I can do some more reading outside and maybe take my laptop out and write for a while, too.

I rewatched Folsom Prison Blues yesterday, too. I really do like that episode. Season two, man, it's awesome! Speaking of, I think I'm meeting with my marathoning friends on Tuesday to watch the first half of S2 so that should be really fun :D Tuesday is also Kizzie's birthday (she's going to be three!) so me and my mum are going to take her for a long walk in the morning then my mum and sister will take her for a run at the beach in the evening while I'm out.

I'm going out again tonight - having a meal with the people who were in my French class last year. It was really nice of them to invite me along too even though I didn't do it this year :) Anyway, it's so warm and sunny that I think I'll be brave and wear a dress! My little sister has approved my choice of dress and told me to wear it with bold accessories, lol!

I have a thirty day fic meme that I snagged from the lovely

sheryden so I'm going to be starting that tomorrow (mainly because I already typed up my answer to the first day but it's on my laptop and I'm too lazy to go and get it!)

Now, I want to give you all a heads-up; I think I'm going to do a friends cut soon. I just feel like my flist is quite big at the moment and there are some of you that I haven't heard from in ages/we just never connected. Anyway, I think I'll do it like last time and make a comment-to-stay post. Some of you are already on my list to stay anyway but there are some of you that I haven't spoken to much but would still like to be friends with so I'm going to give you the choice :) I really hope there won't be any hard feelings because I'm going to feel just as bad doing this f-cut as I did with the other one I did. But I talk about some pretty personal things on here so I want to know the people who are reading it, you know? Likewise, if you want to defriend me then there won't be any hard feelings on my part. I think I'll be putting the post up tomorrow/Tuesday.

Wow, I rambled on there. Sorry! I have about an hour before I need to go and start getting ready so I think I'll go and do some more reading. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sunday! *hugs*

I'VE FINISHED MY EXAMS!!!

So, I had my last exam this morning :) I think it went well - the second question in particular was exactly the kind of text I wanted to write about. I'm just so glad thery're over now!

Anyway, it's the leaver's ball tonight so I'm not going to be around much today/tonight. It starts at 7 and goes on until 1. My dress is hanging up, my nails are painted and I've found my ID :) I still need to find a purse to use - the one I usually use is too big to fit in my bag - and then do my hair and make-up closer to the time. (Wow, I sound like such a girl!)

I'm going to be so, so tired tomorrow but it should be fun :D

Hey everyone :)

So, I didn't get around to posting last night after my exam - I was really pretty tired and I tweeted a little bit and watched Supernatural and had an early night.

My exam went well, I think. The questions were fair (for the most part) and I think I answered them as well as I could. Anyway, there's nothing more I can do now except be pleased that the history exam (the hardest one for me) is out of the way. My other exam is on the 24th so I have a bit of time - I already feel pretty prepared for that one and I've been getting A/A*s in the mocks so I'm pretty confident. Revision for that is going to start on Monday but, as I only need to be in school a couple of hours a week now, I won't have to work quite so intensely every day.

I'm going to do some big bang reading today and hopefully get caught up with all the ones I want to read - anyone have any recs? Also, it's five days till I post mine! Eeeek. I'm really excited and nervous and I need to start getting it ready to post. What's everyone's views on author's notes, by the way? Is it better to put them in the masterpost or link to a seperate entry for them?

Speaking of big bangs, the writer sign ups for thebigbangjob (a Leverage challenge) close soon so if you want to give that a go then check it out :) I think that there's a bit of a shortage of artists, too, so any Leverage artists out there might want to take a look :)

So, as I mentioned before I’m going to be running another prompt-taking session. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an old friend or a new friend, if you want to leave a prompt then feel free to :)

Just in case you don’t know, I do these prompt things for two reasons. Firstly, I like to be able to do something for my friends. I’m not really in a position to buy icons or send cards on special occasions so this is my way of giving you all something. Secondly, I made a resolution at New Year’s to try and challenge myself with my writing by trying to write things I might not usually write so this is a good way of getting prompts for that.

I’ll write for SPN, CW RPS, Leverage, Oceans 11 and if there’s anything else you’d like me to write for just ask – if I don’t know/don’t feel comfortable writing for the fandom then I’ll let you know. I’ll write either gen or for a pairing. Pairing-wise, most of you know the pairings I read and write – Sam/Dean, some Dean/Cas, Jared/Jensen, Jeff/Jensen, Eliot/Alec, Nate/Eliot – but if there’s anything else then, again, just ask and I’ll see what I can do.

I’ll take prompts up until the 17^th so that gives us a week to sort things out. And I’m going to say up to two prompts per person this time because a few people wanted to give more than one on the last round.

We just got back from the vets. Kizzie's had her stitches out and we got the results back. The tumour was benign. Kizzie's going to be fine :) It is really such a relief! Thanks to everyone who has sent their thoughts etc :D

Hey guys :)

I'VE FINISHED MY EXAMS UNTIL THE SUMMER! The exam this morning went so, so well - much better than last weeks - and I'm just really glad it's over for a while. We'll most likely get our results some time in March so there's a while to wait for those. From now on, it's just focusing on coursework for a while which is going to take up quitea bit of time but I'm not going think about that tonight :) Thanks to everyone who has wished me luck and put up with me complaining about it all!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do tonight to celebrate. I know that my sister and I are going to watch some Leverage (see, I've got her hooked!) and I definitely want to try and do some writing but mostly I'm just going to relax :D

OMG. Seriously, OMG. I just watched the episode (homework can just go away) and OMG.

I loved it. So much.

Break out the bubbly! I've just finished my first draft of the

spnslashbigbang ! The deadline might be getting extended but still, I've met the original one!!! *dances*

It's at 16451 words and I'm very pleased with it. Obviously, there's still some work to be done but the story's there. It's written out and I've done it!

I'm going to submit it tomorrow (when I get home) with the summary and everything and then it's time for the claims (unless the deadline gets changed.)

So yeah, I'm excited!!!!

I'm just about packed now - just need a few last minute things in in the morning. I've really enjoyed this holiday. I'll post more pictures ASAP.

And tomorrow night I'll be able to watch last weeks ep and this weeks ep of Supernatural!!!

And I might finally get around to cross-posting that Leverage fic.

And I might possibly be a little bit hyper!

So, my Grandad had an angiogram today and the doctors have managed to clear the blockage that was causing the problems with his toe! We're hoping to have him home by early next week. I'm so pleased, especially because they were talking about having to amputate if they couldn't fix the problem. Thank you so much to everyone who has asked after him.

It's not long now until Supernatural which means I'm gonna have to avoid lj and twitter until I've seen it. Which reminds me, if anyone wants to talk on AIM, I'm MTheron09 on there.

I've had a busy few days - went to Holy Island, had an early morning walk on the beach, posted two stories and I'm about to go bowling. I'll fill you all in later :D

Oh, and my best friend is the bestest best friend ever. He's made a scrapbook for my little sister's birthday!!!

I finished for the summer today!!! I only had one lesson :) In fact, today has been awesome.

My friends and I all went into town for the day and had lunch and wandered around doing nothing of any importance. By friends, that includes my crush/best friend who I was actually with for most of the time. He walked me home, as well :D

Alright, things I want to do this summer:

1) Get my challenge and prompt fics written
2)Rewatch some Supernatural
3) Watch Leverage
4) Read
5) Go out with K as much as possible

I'm sure there's more :)

How are you all doing? I feel like I’ve been slightly MIA but I actually haven’t. I think it’s just because the last few days have been busy.

I went to this Brownie thing last night because my Mum was being presented with something. Anyway, they played ‘Eye of the Tiger’! I couldn’t stop grinning and I actually think I did a little Jensen dance at one point. I hope no-one was looking ;) Then, in French today, someone put ‘Back in Black’ on! Basically, Supernatural music is everywhere and it’s awesome and it makes me happy.

So, there are a lot of challenges going on at the moment. I signed up for the spn_reversebang yesterday on top of all the other stuff I mentioned the other day. It sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun! And my sanity is on the run with the sanity of lightthesparks :)

Just out of curiosity, what challenges are everyone else involved with? And are you making art or writing? We can all support one another!

Had my last exam today - another history - and it went really well. No more exams this year now!! I'm so happy. *dances*

My plan for the next couple of days is to immerse myself in writing the prompt fics, my SPN rewatch (Bloody Mary's next!) and reading Big Bangs so expect much fandom squee from me :D

Which reminds me, I decided yesterday that I'm going to do Big Bang next year! I even have a few ideas for what I might like to do for it. And I know it's ridiculously early, but I'm really excited!

I've only read one Big Bang so far this year but I loved it, going to try and get through at least another one tonight once I get back from helping out at Brownies.
