What have I missed?

Hey guys :) How are you? Hope you're all doing okay.

First of all, sorry that I've been MIA over the past couple of days. I've had a really horrible cold and I spent pretty much all of Monday and Tuesday in bed. Then, yesterday, I had no choice but to venture out of the house because I had an open day for the course that I really want to do. I'm really glad I went because there was lots of useful information and it's just confirmed how much I want to go in my head but I spent the whole time coughing and sniffling :(

Okay, so, positives and negatives of the last few days:

-I've fallen really behind with my coursework and I'm going to have to spend today catching up because I'm out all of Sunday and I'm going out with K tomorrow and I'd really like Saturday off before I go back to school.

-It's been even more of a rubbish half-term than I thought it would be.

+I've watched so many episodes of Supernatural (while lying in bed) and that's kind of made everything better because, recently, I haven't really had the time to rewatch any episodes and now I've watched about 10 episodes (off the top of my head they were: Roadkill, Hollywood Babylon, Salvation, Devil's Trap, Swan Song, The End, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things)

+The Open Day was great - I met the director of the course and he seems like an awesome guy who really cares about the students. Plus, I found out how lucky I was to get an offer - he had to turn 200 other candidates who he would usually accept on the course away.

- I had been sure about what subject combination I was going to do but now I sort of want to add a third in so that I'd be doing History, English Literature and English Linguistics (the new one). The thing is, if I stick with the original two I can do a creative writing module (!) so I have a bit of a dilema now. Need to have a think about the pros and cons of each one.

-I haven't written anything :( I was planning on getting lots of my big bang written this week but I haven't written a word of it while I haven't been well.

My cold is still lingering but I do feel better than I did which is something :) I have a hair appointment at 12.30 today which means that the whole catching up on coursework thing is going to be a bit awkward as it's right in the middle of the day. I might just have to keep on working later into the night than I usually do.

I'm really looking forward to the next episode of Supernatural :D So, so excited about it!

Season 3 of Leverage honestly can't come out on dvd quick enough. There isn't even a release date yet though.

I should, erm, probably get on with that coursework now!
