How amazing and exciting and downright awesome was this episode? I mean, it made me cry and gasp and bite my nails. There’s so much to talk about here and I know I’m going to forget some things so feel free to mention anything I've missed in comments so I can squee about those too! So yeah, I loved the episode!!!

Okay, so I loved this episode (I guess that's not really a surprise because I usually do!) It was totally, totally worth the wait over hiatus and it just reminded me of why I love the show and it's ability to take me on an emotional rollercoaster and just be wonderfully epic. Suffice to say, there are spoilers under the cut.

This is my second attempt at writing this post and it's a little annoying but that's all I'm going to say about the matter because, in the end, I do actually still like lj, despite the problems at the moment.

Yesterday was awesome. The meal out with friends, the random wandering about afterwards that involved a deflecting football, lots of hugs (I like hugs) and talking about Jimmy Carter, the walking home from town rather than getting the bus (that made me feel much healthier and much less guilty about the pizza.) I know things are going to change a bit from now on, with one of my friends moving away, but I hope that that doesn't change. I hope that, when he comes back to visit, we can still all go out and get on and laugh like that.

There's a leverageland challenge due on the 12th. I have to write a fic in the form of a diary entry and, erm, as of now I've JUST decided which character to write and I've sort of made a start - as in, just ten minutes ago, so I need to get on with that. I may need someone to look it over when it's done (it'll be 750 words max) but that someone needs to be someone who isn't a member of the comm so I was wondering if there were any takers?

Not long until Supernatural now! I'm excited :) I think that me and my friends are doing another marathon some time next week so that'll be both fun and a good way to prepare for season seven.

Yesterday was pretty darn awesome - I really do love my friends. Our awesomemeal out was followed by a walk around town which involved a deflecting football, talking about Presidents (there's a plaque thing about when Jimmy Carter visited) and lots of hugs (I like hugs.) Then to top it off, some of us walked home and that was pretty awesome too because walking home made me feel a lot healthier.
There's a leverageland challenge entry due by the 12th - we have to write a fic in the form of a diary entry and I thought I'd be able to do it no problem but, as of today, I still have no clue about which character I'm going to use or anything else. I better get on that. Speaking of which, when I do get it written, I might need someone to have a quick read over it to check it out. Thing is, that person needs to not be a member of leverageland because there's voting involved in this challenge. So, erm, any takers? It's going to be 750 words maximum so not too long at all.
I'm sorting out more stuff in my room today - I've got all my make-up and everything put into a new box and now I'm working on organising my shoes. My cork board is still empty at the moment but I took some photos yesterday and I have loads saved so that shouldn't be the case for too much longer. Also, I have an awesome magazine file for all of my Supernatural magazines :D
It's not that long until Supernatural season seven now! I'm really looking forward to this season - I have a good feeling about it. Sometime next week, me and my friends are marathoning the second hald of S2 so that should be fun/ a good way to prepare.

It's really quiet around the house this morning - my little sister has gone back to school today so nothing's really happening and she'd already gone when I woke up. It seems like this year, the six weeks summer holiday went over way too quickly and, apart from the holiday, we hardly went out anywhere. Yesterday was nice, though. We went to a local stately home place and then for a pub lunch.

I don't start uni until the 25th (and that's freshers week so I don't have classes until October) so I have a little way to go but I need to start getting more organised now. I'm going to sit down with my Mum later and we're going to go through all the emails, letters and scholarships information that I've recieved over the last week or so from the uni. And, as I wrote the first paragraph of this post, the bell rang and it was a parcel with some of the books that I ordered and, man, I have a LOT of reading to do. It's exciting and also a little daunting so I'm going to start reading some stuff today - I'm not sure what we'll be doing first but it can't hurt to get a head start on any of them.

I'm getting to the point now where I can't wait for season seven of Supernatural. It's awesome that my mum and sister like to watch Leverage and The Mentalist with me but it means that we're watching those most nights, at the time when I used to sometimes go upstairs to watch Supernatural. Which means I haven't watched ANY Supernatural in ages and I really miss it. I've done pretty well at avoiding season seven spoilers so hopefully it's all going to be a wonderful surprise and I'm really looking forward to it!

My plan for today writing-wise is to do some work on my Stanford fic - I re-read the whole thing yesterday to refresh my memory because it's been a while since I've done anything to it and I still really like it. It's at 26/7 k at the moment so I'm aiming to maybe get it to 30k by the end of today. I'm going to try and do some work on an entry for a challenge at leverageland

We're going to go and see Harry Potter again today. I'm pretty excited because I just know I'll notice new things that I didn't the first time around and, also, it's Harry Potter. After we're done there, I'm meeting up with a friend for coffee which should be nice - I haven't really seen any of my friends recently so it'll make a nice change.

The revisions to my

thebigbangjob fic are going well. I added a new element to the fic about five hours before the deadline so I'm going through at the moment and working that in and, I must say, I think the fic is better because of it. Anyway, I'm nearly done, I think and then I can send it off to the lovely

redtapestry who has offered to beta it for me. I'm really excited about claims and posting and everything - it's interesting doing a challenge outside of the SPN fandom.

I'm getting so, so excited for uni now. I've been talking to some people who are doing my subjects on facebook (hit it off with one girl very well - she likes SPN!) They've also released some more information about the first night - I need to think of some beach fancy dress for the party at the students union. Anyway, me = excited.

I can't believe it's the Leverage summer finale next week - time seems to have flown by. But at least that means it isn't long now until September when Supernatural comes back for season seven :)

I'm going to be away from the 5th-12th August without any internet access or even my laptop so I won't be contactable/involved with anything on the internet during that week (I'm guessing I'll have lots to catch up on when I get back!) Anyway, it also means I'm going to need to work my fic writing and challenge entries around that.

I've got part of a plot outline for

thebigbangjob now (yay!), hopefully I'll finish it tonight. The deadline for the rough draft is a month from now, 21st August, so I really need to try and have most of it written before I go away so that I don't have a mad dash in the week after I get back (which is when I get exam results etc so I'll be pretty busy.) If I were to make the submission just in time I'd need to write at least 600 words a day (missing out the week when I'm away.) Obviously though I'd rather have the bulk of it written before and I can't be sure exactly how far I'll go over the minimum word count (which is 15,000) so I really need to aim for about 1000 words per day. So yeah, do me a favour and pester me about that, yeah? ;)

The other thing I'm currently working towards a deadline for is the

hoodie_time tag challenge which needs to be posted by August 17th at the latest. This one will only be a couple of thousand words so I'm hoping to have it finished before I go away. Would anyone be willing to beta-read it for me while I'm gone? Its gen, an insomnia, Dean-focused h/c fic - that way I can edit and post it on the 13th/14th in time for the deadline.

Aside from that of course, I'm working on the prompt fics I have yet to finish and post, I'm hoping to do a least one fill for the John focused comment meme that's running here at my journal at the moment and I have, of course, the ongoing Stanford fic to work on.

Yeah, I'm scared now!

Wow. It's so hot again today - I really love this weather! I know that the heat makes me lazy and I don't get much done but it's so nice to be able to wear sandals and go outside without needing a coat.

The SPN S2 marathon was a success - we got through 13 episodes, rather a lot of beer (although I only had one) and five packets of dorrittos between us. There was also pizza and gag reel quotes and tickling. And then my friend walked me home because he's a gentleman like that.

Today has been so awesome so far :) It's really warm outside so I've been sitting out there reading The Two Towers. I'm about half of the way through now and still really enjoying it. I'm so glad I'm getting time to read it now! It was nice to sit outside in the sun - I never tan, though! I just freckle :) I really hope it's as warm as this tomorrow so I can do some more reading outside and maybe take my laptop out and write for a while, too.

I rewatched Folsom Prison Blues yesterday, too. I really do like that episode. Season two, man, it's awesome! Speaking of, I think I'm meeting with my marathoning friends on Tuesday to watch the first half of S2 so that should be really fun :D Tuesday is also Kizzie's birthday (she's going to be three!) so me and my mum are going to take her for a long walk in the morning then my mum and sister will take her for a run at the beach in the evening while I'm out.

I'm going out again tonight - having a meal with the people who were in my French class last year. It was really nice of them to invite me along too even though I didn't do it this year :) Anyway, it's so warm and sunny that I think I'll be brave and wear a dress! My little sister has approved my choice of dress and told me to wear it with bold accessories, lol!

I have a thirty day fic meme that I snagged from the lovely

sheryden so I'm going to be starting that tomorrow (mainly because I already typed up my answer to the first day but it's on my laptop and I'm too lazy to go and get it!)

Now, I want to give you all a heads-up; I think I'm going to do a friends cut soon. I just feel like my flist is quite big at the moment and there are some of you that I haven't heard from in ages/we just never connected. Anyway, I think I'll do it like last time and make a comment-to-stay post. Some of you are already on my list to stay anyway but there are some of you that I haven't spoken to much but would still like to be friends with so I'm going to give you the choice :) I really hope there won't be any hard feelings because I'm going to feel just as bad doing this f-cut as I did with the other one I did. But I talk about some pretty personal things on here so I want to know the people who are reading it, you know? Likewise, if you want to defriend me then there won't be any hard feelings on my part. I think I'll be putting the post up tomorrow/Tuesday.

So, as all of you know I couldn't watch it until this morning. I hadn't read any spoilers or looked at the previews so I had NO idea what to expect from these two episodes.

I'm going to attempt to be coherent in my reaction but I'm still kind of processing it all so some of what comes out may not make total sense.

Also, I'm wearing my Supernatural t-shirt in honour of the occassion. And yeah, there's spoilers under the cut. And also a mention of a casting spoiler for S7 towards the end.

Hey guys :)

Wow, it feels like this is the first chance I've had to really post properly in a few days. I do like my new timetable but my Wednesdays and Thursdays are so busy now that I hardly get online. Plus, you know, I'm revising as well.

For those of you who asked me to keep you updates about the fire, they've managed to get it under control and no-one seems to be seriously injured. The manager evacuated everyone from inside just in time which was so, so lucky because the size of the blast was huge. People were able to see smoke from 60 miles away at the Scottish borders!

On Wednesday night I went to see POTC 4 with my sister, her friend and K. The film has had mixed reviews, at least it has here in the UK, but I enjoyed it. I thought it was more like the first movie - simpler and more about the fun rather than the darker/more complicated plots. It was strange because there were a few characters missing but I liked the new characters as well so it was all good :)

I woke up this morning and thought it was Saturday and I could watch SPN - imagine my disappointment when I realised it's only Friday! Anyway, I have four essays to do today. I want to get them done today because I can then justify taking tomorrow morning off from working so I can watch SPN :) And then I can revise for the rest of the weekend.

Hey everyone :)

I'm a bit more awake than I was last night so this post will be longer :) I have the day off today so I'm going to try and get as much revision done as possible. Then, I'm going to the hospital with my Mum tonight to keep her company because she has an appointment for a MRI scan. I'll take 'The Two Towers' and start reading that while I'm waiting for her.

It seems weird that we're not going to have an episode of Supernatural tonight, although it's probably a good thing for me because I'm out in town tomorrow so I'd be rushing to get back so I could see the finale :D So, in liu of Supernatural, what are you guys up to this weekend? Anything fun?

Like I mentioned, I'm in town for a while tomorrow. There's an event on at a jewellery shop that Mum and I like so we're going to go for that - we pay ten pounds for a ticked and get a pendant worth £45, a drink and some nibbles and 15% off any other purchase which isn't bad at all ;) Especially when I still have birthday money left over!

I better go and get on with revision now. Anyone have any awesome tips to help me? At the moment I'm making powerpoints as a quick way to condense all of my notes and then I'll probably do some handwritten stuff at one point, too.
