Hey everyone :)

So, I didn't get around to posting last night after my exam - I was really pretty tired and I tweeted a little bit and watched Supernatural and had an early night.

My exam went well, I think. The questions were fair (for the most part) and I think I answered them as well as I could. Anyway, there's nothing more I can do now except be pleased that the history exam (the hardest one for me) is out of the way. My other exam is on the 24th so I have a bit of time - I already feel pretty prepared for that one and I've been getting A/A*s in the mocks so I'm pretty confident. Revision for that is going to start on Monday but, as I only need to be in school a couple of hours a week now, I won't have to work quite so intensely every day.

I'm going to do some big bang reading today and hopefully get caught up with all the ones I want to read - anyone have any recs? Also, it's five days till I post mine! Eeeek. I'm really excited and nervous and I need to start getting it ready to post. What's everyone's views on author's notes, by the way? Is it better to put them in the masterpost or link to a seperate entry for them?

Speaking of big bangs, the writer sign ups for thebigbangjob (a Leverage challenge) close soon so if you want to give that a go then check it out :) I think that there's a bit of a shortage of artists, too, so any Leverage artists out there might want to take a look :)

How are you all? I hope you've all had a good day. I'm going to do another bullet post today :)

My revision still seems to be going okay. I did some this morning before school and I'm going to do some more tonight after we've eaten. I did realise, though, that I only have seventeen days until the history exam which is kind of scary!
Is there anyone who's willing to beta a Sam/Dean fic for me? It's 1,300 words and, although it's set post-6.22, it only has very vague spoilers for some stuff that happened earlier in the season. I'd like someone who can look at content as well as grammar stuff for this one, please :)
lightthesparks is a massive enabler who is totally bribing me to write two fics - one shortish, one much longer - by promising me art :) Not that I'm complaining because the plot ideas are awesome. I wrote ~~about 2k~~ about 3k now of the longer fic today so I'm happy with how that's progressing.
I have more of idea about what I'm writing for thebigbangjob now - I know it's early in the game but does anyone know if they'll be able to beta it for me? Or does anyone fancy talking plot ideas and we can cheerlead for each other :) And I'll totally repay the beta-reading favour/write fic in return.
I got rained on a lot walking home and then the second I walked in the house the sun came out and it stopped. So me = soaked and angry at the weather :) But, you know, new philosophy and all that. If it was meant to be, it was meant to be and I'm just going to keep smiling!
Oh, one last thing - do any of you on here watch Home and Away? I promise you that there's a reason for this question :)

I'm going back to writing this fic now for the hour before we eat and then it's revision time afterwards. Fun times :)

My Mondays are really weird now. I'm only in school for one class (11.20-12.10) and all we do in that class is watch a documentary which, you know, we need to do but I kind of wish we did that on a day when I was in for more than one lesson because it seems so annoying having to go in just for that. I have a tutorial apointment today, as well, but if it's anything like all of the other ones I've had it'll only take five minutes at the most and then I can come home.

I, erm, was bad yesterday and didn't do any revision at all. I honestly meant to, I just didn't get around to it. We got up early for the first time in a few weeks and took Kizzie down to the beach for a run and then...I don't really know what I did. I did some beta-reading and watched some Supernatural and, basically, just procrastinated. I'm going to be better today. Once I get back from school this afternoon I'm going to stay away from the internet for at least a few hours.

I've also been doing some more edits to my big bang over the last few days. At the moment, there's a few mistakes I'm making with my writing style that I'm trying to iron out. The thing is, I notice those things in other people's writing but not always in my own. My posting date is June 16th, by the way. So, yeah, it's pretty early and I need to keep working my way through and improving it. I have to say, though, I've read two of my friends' big bangs (you know who you are) and they were both amazing so if mine is even half as good I'll be happy, considering this is my first time.

There's another thing I need to do as well; update my masterpost. I have one fic (my 50th) that I need to add to it but I also want to reorganise it. At the moment, it's broken up into fandom sections but I think I want to arrange it into clearer pairing sections as well because it's sort of like this right now: Dean/Cas - Sam/Dean - Gen - Sam/Dean. And yeah, that's annoying.

-Nothing much has really happened today, unless you count three out of four lessons being off which meant I had to hang around and play cards when I should have had the lessons. Yeah, playing cards with my friends was such a hardship. We played 'President' because it's an awesome game and we cheated while one of our friends left the room for a moment because that's how we roll. We actually all cheat half the time, working together to make certain people win or certain people lose but it's okay because we have fun and everyone knows it's happening. I'm actually quite good at cards, though, even when I don't cheat!

I came home slightly early so I've been preparing for Brownies tonight and I'm going to try and get on with some coursework once I'm done here.

-I finished writing the last chapter of my big bang yesterday! No, I'm not finished my big bang even though I've written the last chapter because I've been writing it all out of order. I have the first chapter completely written, the last chapter completely written, three more chapters with scenes written and three more that have nothing written yet. It's the way my mind words, apparently. Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with my ending at the moment, although I think the last line is a little cheesy.

lightthesparks has made some amazing art for it so I just hope my story lives up to it! It's a S5 AU Sam/Dean fic and I'm looking forward to getting it posted! My

spnslashbigbang posting date is on the 15th so that's not far off, either. Now, if only I can code both of these fics and their art properly it'll be great!!!

-I'm not going to tell you all behind I am with coursework. It's my fault anyway!

- I'm still angry at my auntie and everything but, now that we have a plan of action, I'm going to try not to think about it and just get on with things. Yeah, money is going to be tight from now on but it could have been a lot worse and there's not really anything I can do about it so I might as well do stuff about things I can control.

I am so, so behind with Big Bang stuff! I haven't read anything in over a week and the writing isn't going well either. I'm really worried that I won't meet the deadlines, especially because I'm away for a week this month and then a week in October :(

Advanced warning: I'm away for a week from the 23rd and I won't have the internet at all. I'm really, really looking forward to my holiday in Greece :) I'm not looking forward to a weeks worth of catching up when I get back!! Worse still, the airports are talking about striking so I really hope there are no delays etc. Keep your fingers crossed for me please!

My Leverage obsession is growing. I watched the episode where Christian Kane sings yesterday and, *flails*, I think I'm in love. I asked this a while back but I didn't manage to get a copy that worked on my computer. Does anyone have a copy of the song that you can send/upload for me? I will love you forever and ever!

And does anyone have any Leverage fic/comm recs? I'm trying to expand my horizons :)

Life's kind of up and down over the past few days - I'm sorry if I've missed commenting on your posts. Usually, us living with my grandparents works pretty well but every so often things so wrong and we argue which isn't fun at all. Like, Grandma's are supposed to bake cookies etc, not tell you to get out of their house.

The only good thing that came out of it is that I've been reminded of just how lovely K is. We were talking online just after it happened and he always knows what to do to make me feel better. He even apologised for living too far away when I said I needed a hug.

In other news, I'm still wondering if there are any other S5 missing scenes/bits that didn't make sense that you guys can think of.

And last night I kind of freaked out when I realised that I'm going to have to create masterposts for these challenge fics. So yeah, it's an awful long way off, but I reckon I'll end up asking you guys for help with that one!

Also, I dreamt about Boyking!Sam the other night. I was Dean. That's kind of worrying :/

Yay! I've finally got some more writing done :) I've been kind of drifting for the last few weeks but I think I'm getting back into it now. Working on the prompt fics first and then I'm going to make a start on the canon fic.

On that note, I have a quick question. How old would Ben be now?

I've also still got a challenge fic to finish for 'The Bill'. It's turning into a pretty long multi-chapter - think it's going to have the heaviest plot that I've ever written. It's getting quite complicated now because it's a case-fic. I really hope it turns out okay.

As for 'The Bill', it's been really good recently - can't believe it's going to end :( I just hope that my favourite actors manage to find new jobs on awesome shows.

I know I said I had an idea for Big Bang next year but I kind of really want to write it now. I guess I could write some standalone fics that would fit in with it and turn it into a verse. Hmm, I don't know. What do you think?

Apart from the 30 day meme I've been kind of MIA for the past few days, so sorry if I've missed out on commenting on posts etc.

I had the day off school today so my Mum and I went into town - that's three Fridays in a row now :) Anyway, we were looking at cards and I saw this wedding/anniversary one and it listed things that go together. Slash has corrupted me because I squeed the moment I saw the words 'Starsky and Hutch' :D

I'm still trying to catch up on Big Bang fics. I just read the one with make-up artist Jared and I enjoyed it; it was a good read AND it made me smile which made a change - there are an awful lot of death fics etc this year.

Which reminds me, friends who are writing/making art for Big Bang fics, when are your posting dates? *is curious*

I've had another good day; took Kizzie (my golden retriever) for a lovely, long walk this morning. Came back and did some editing on my The Bill challenge fic - I'm actually really liking the direction it's taking. It's very different to fics I've written in the past; it's got a lot more focus on the case and the plot's much more complicated. Also started putting some ideas together for the other prompt fics that I'm writing.

My back's a little bit better today as well :) Although it's still hurting when I'm sitting down.

Going to spend the rest of the night catching up on Rising Con stuff :D

Had my last exam today - another history - and it went really well. No more exams this year now!! I'm so happy. *dances*

My plan for the next couple of days is to immerse myself in writing the prompt fics, my SPN rewatch (Bloody Mary's next!) and reading Big Bangs so expect much fandom squee from me :D

Which reminds me, I decided yesterday that I'm going to do Big Bang next year! I even have a few ideas for what I might like to do for it. And I know it's ridiculously early, but I'm really excited!

I've only read one Big Bang so far this year but I loved it, going to try and get through at least another one tonight once I get back from helping out at Brownies.

I love this fandom :D
