Hey guys :D
So, firstly, I want to say sorry for not being about much over the last few days. Things have been unbelieveably busy as I've been getting ready to go away tomorrow. I haven't commented much because I haven't had the time but I've tried to read your posts when possible.
MY COURSEWORK IS FINALLY ALL HANDED IN! It feels so good to have it all done - it's just a shame I'll have to start revising soon!
As if I wasn't busy enough, I helped out at a coffee evening with the Brownies last night. It actually went really well and we raised nearly £300 so that made me feel good for contributing to the community :D
Most of my packing is done now - I have all of the folders that I need to take in a bag, along with a list of the stuff I want to write while I'm away. I'm going to work on a big bang summary while I'm there and then send off the draft when I get back.
I guess this is the bit where I tell you all that, as of tomorrow, I'm on HIATUS for a week. I should be back online on either the 23rd or the 24th. Message me or whatever if anything important happens so that I'll see as soon as I get back :D And, you know, if there's any nice pictures or anything then drop me a line if you like :) I hope you all have an awesome week. Apr. 3rd, 2011 02:55 pm- We've had a pretty nice Mother's Day so far. Went for a walk in the park and we've had cupcakes and my sister and I made the lunch. Me and my Mum are going to make the evening meal together tonight. We're going to have chicken and white wine sauce with warm scones for desert.
I think my Grandma is a bit upset because she hasn't heard from any of the other grandchildren or my auntie. We were kind of expecting that but I don't blame her for being upset. Still, she has us and we've always been closer to her anyway so that's the main thing. I'm still angry at them for not getting in touch, though, because my Grandma didn't do anything and she's definitely not in the wrong. My uncle (who separated from my auntie) sent a card and a letter the other day which made my Grandma cry. If he (who isn't a blood relation) can bother, why can't the others? On that note, my Mum has send birthday and engagement things to two of them now and hasn't even got so much as a text to say thank you. Grrrr.
-It's not long until I go on holiday now. I'll most likely be on hiatus from the 16th to the 23rd because I don't think I'll manage to get internet out there. I'll take my laptop anyway so I can do some writing and upload photos as I go - if I manage to pick up internet then that will be a bonus! I'm really looking forward to going away - the area where we're staying looks amazing and the cottage looks like it's going to be a nice place to live in for a week.

-I finally read 'The Hobbit' ( I told you I would, eventually,
gothic_elvis ) and I enjoyed it. I've asked for the other books for my birthday and once I've read those I'll watch the films (I know, I'm about ten years late to this but shhhh.)-Did I mention that I finished my history first draft? I probably did but I'm pleased about it so I'm going to mention it again :) It's very gratifying not having to do coursework today! I'll still have editing to do but it won't take nearly as long to do as writing the inital draft. I'll be so pleased once it's all handed in.
-Does anyone feel like become email pen pals? It's something I've been thinking of for a while - nothing too demanding, just an email back and forth every now and again. I'd love to get to know some of you better/to keep in touch more often.
