I'm actually trying to be productive today; have been working on my essay some and then I'm going to try and do some more writing later. I've ended up writing everything I'd planned to write for my essay in less than half the word count so I'm going to need to do some rethinking or go back and try and expand certain bit. It's very, very rough at the moment and I think that's the problem.[Poll #1808319]

Happy Birthday to xbreakyourheart ! Bb, you're my oldest fandom/online friend and I'm so glad that we've stayed in contact for all of this time (it's got to be about five years now, right?) I hope you have a fantastic day *hugs*
Despite having Friday off as well as the weekend, I've still left my history essay to write until today. It's not due in until Thursday but my revision officially starts tomorrow so I want to get it out of the way before then. The problem is, I haven't actually had to write an essay in ages and it's taking me a while to get back into the swing of it. Plus, we haven't been taught half of the topic that we're writing about because of the teacher problems. I'm at 425 words at the moment, going to just have to persevere and do the best I can. If I have to hand in an awful essay, then that's what I'll have to do.
My big bang got claimed (as has everyone elses.) I know we're supposed to wait for the reveals for people to find out who is working with who but what's the norm for showing summaries? Are we allowed to post them on our journals or do we wait until our posting dates?
I'm nearing the end of 'The Fellowship of the Ring' now. I usually read faster than this but I'm hardly getting any time to read either than or fanfic at the moment. I'm enjoying it so far, can't believe it's taken me this long to start reading the books.
Can you tell I'm totally writing this post instead of writing my essay?
I just realised that I still haven't posted the photos of my cake. I promise I'll do it later, as well as posting a few more photos from my birthday.
I'm hoping to have another fic posted soon. It's a fic that was inspired by a prompt by morgentau and let's just say it involves Jared and Jensen playing guitar. I've already started writing it, just need to finish now :) But really, I need to finish the essay first.

So, It's just over a month until my A2 exams start and that is such a scary thought. I'm lucky because I only have two exams this summer but my history exam needs so much revision that the workload is still big. I've got my history exam on June 10th and my english language exam on June 24th.

I need to start revising. I know I do. I just can't seem to actually start. I don't know why, maybe because so much is riding on these exams and it's scary, but I know I need to work hard over the next few weeks so this is me telling you that I'm not going to be around on here as much.

I'm not going on hiatus because a) I won't be able to do it and b)I think I should still be allowed some fun and time to relax BUT I won't be posting quite as often, definitely not every day.

And, please, if I seem to be slacking off on here or on twitter or facebook or whatever, shout at me :) Thanks!

I'm going to write up my post in bullet points today, just because I feel like it :)

I was supposed to be going out for Tapas tomorrow for another birthday celebration with some family friends. Except that one of them isn't feeling well today so we might have to reschedule which isn't fun. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that she feels better later - I was looking forward to some sangria and good food.
Tomorrow is also the last day before I'm back at school. My timetable is changing so it means I have Fridays off which means I'll have a three day week next week :)
I'm reading The Fellowship of the Ring FINALLY. I really can't believe how long it took me to start reading these books - I'm enjoying them so much. I'll have to watch the films next :) I only wish I could meet up with gothic_elvis and trollmela (both big fans) to watch them!
Oh, I watched Ten Inch Hero for the first time the other day. I kind of don't know what to think about it. I quite enjoyed watching it and I thought Jensen played a good part as Priestly. But, I really didn't like the way Priestly had to change himself for Tish to go out with him- the film would have been much more poignant if she had gone out with him for who he was, rather than him compromising himself for her. Also, the sex scene was awkward because it was unexpected and my little sister and mum were both there!
I'm going to try and do some editing of my big bang today - need to upload all of my story files onto my new laptop first, though. I guess that I can have a writing day tomorrow if we don't go for Tapas.

I should have worked more last week. I really should have. Now I'm left with tonnes of revision to do that I haven't even started (I'm going to fail my exams) and a coursework investigation that'd going to be awful. Like, seriously, last year I had my coursework all organised into a neat folder but this year, this year I can't find half of my notes and I have no idea how to organise it all and it's going BADLY. I have 150 words of an analysis that is terrible.

And now I'm freaking out. And, of course, the clever thing to do would be to not come on lj but I really needed to write this down somewhere and, guys, I need to stop procrastinating and being easily distracted and just DO SOMETHING. Aaargh.

How's everyone doing? I was slightly MIA yesterday after school got closed again - went into town with my sister and we met up with K to do some Christmas shopping. We didn't actually get that much shopping actually done, though!

I'm going back up to school in about half an hour for history revision. I'm not looking forward to walking back up through the snow again!

Still working on coursework etc but I'm feeling a bit happier about it - there might be a lot to do at the moment but it's going to get better after January. *is trying to look on the bright side* At the moment, I have my coursework open as well as an essay on 'King Lear'.

We're starting to get the house cleaned and ready to decorate for Christmas which is exciting :D The tree's going up next weekend so I'm going to have to find our Christmas CDs - we always play them while we decorate - and I'm hoping my Mum will open the Baileys soon so I can start having Baileys hot chocolate XD

Have I mentioned my new celebrity crush yet? I've always known about this guy and liked his music but, after watching a documentary the other night, Michael Buble is now my new favourite XD He seems like a really down-to-earth person and I do love his music. Although, I still can't take to his version of 'Crazy Love' - I mean, it's great when he sings it but I'm so used to hearing Jason Manns (ft Jensen) sing it.

I think I'll probably start posting the Christmas prompts around the 10th, just so that I don't spam you all with fic nearer to Christmas! I have most of them written now - going to try and finish the rest over this week and at the weekend.

Some of you may remember that I mentioned that Sir Ian McKellen was coming into my school. Well, that's today :D I don't know whether I'll even catch a glimpse of him but my sister's going to a workshop with him so it's all quite exciting! We're going to try and get his autograph, as well.

Oooh, forgot to mention, yay for Supernatural getting the mag cover!!!! That's pretty exciting, too.

Well, I think I've procrastinated and distracted myself enough for now - back to work I go :D

I'm not actually having coffee, I'm having hot chocolate instead :D

Thanks to everyone who sent out positive thoughts for my cousin - he's coming out of the hospital today which is great :D

It's still snowing here, although there hasn't been as much as yesterday. We let Kizzie out in the back this morning and she played in the snow - got some really lovely photos of her that I'll post later. She's hilarious because she can't work out where the snowballs go :)

I was just thinking about the Christmas prompts. I was going to post them from about the 10th December but there are quite a few so I was wondering whether I should start on the 1st and post one a day - what would you guys prefer? I don't mind either way, really. It's just because the 1st is still quite far away from Christmas, really.

I've left all of my homework until Sunday afternoon. Again. And now I've got two essays to write as well as coursework to work on. I've started my history essay but I've given up on that for now. I'm going to start on my Lit question once I've finished writing this post. The question's all about poetry and there's one of Shakespeare's sonnets to write about. I think it should be okay.

Still working my way through Pokemon Yellow - I'm taking it quite slowly because it's the first time I've played it in so long. I'm training my pokemon up quite well, I've got a fairly strong team and my pokedex is looking a lot better than it ever did when I was younger :) I've asked my Mum if she can get me some more of the games for Christmas. I'm really getting back into it all now :D

I better go and write these essays now :(

My procrastinating is still going strong. I've prepared the presentation for tomorrow and I've started the history essay but, guys, I'm finding it really hard again. Idk, I know what I want to say but I'm writing it down and it's not sounding right and I'm not writing enough. I think I'm going to leave it and go back to it tonight. It's due in first thing tomorrow though and I HATE leaving things until the last minute.

In other news, I only have one lesson today which is so, so stupid. I mean, I have to go into school for fifty minutes of class time and that's it. I'm going to go up for lunch though and hang out with K for a bit. But yeah, one lesson, fifty minutes and it's stupid. We're starting Chaucer today, as well, which is hard.

I have five of the Christmas prompt fics written now. Going to start working on another one once I've posted this. I actually can't stop writing at the moment. It's fun :)

I started writing out a list of what I would like for Christmas the other day and it's pretty much CDs, SPN stuff and a few DVDs. I also really, really want to ask for a gameboy colour and Pokemon Yellow (I can't find mine!!) but I don't think anyone would get one for me. I might buy one for myself, instead.

My life is boring :/
