Revision? What's that?

My Mondays are really weird now. I'm only in school for one class (11.20-12.10) and all we do in that class is watch a documentary which, you know, we need to do but I kind of wish we did that on a day when I was in for more than one lesson because it seems so annoying having to go in just for that. I have a tutorial apointment today, as well, but if it's anything like all of the other ones I've had it'll only take five minutes at the most and then I can come home.

I, erm, was bad yesterday and didn't do any revision at all. I honestly meant to, I just didn't get around to it. We got up early for the first time in a few weeks and took Kizzie down to the beach for a run and then...I don't really know what I did. I did some beta-reading and watched some Supernatural and, basically, just procrastinated.  I'm going to be better today. Once I get back from school this afternoon I'm going to stay away from the internet for at least a few hours.

I've also been doing some more edits to my big bang over the last few days. At the moment, there's a few mistakes I'm making with my writing style that I'm trying to iron out. The thing is, I notice those things in other people's writing but not always in my own. My posting date is June 16th, by the way. So, yeah, it's pretty early and I need to keep working my way through and improving it. I have to say, though, I've read two of my friends' big bangs (you know who you are) and they were both amazing so if mine is even half as good I'll be happy, considering this is my first time.

There's another thing I need to do as well; update my masterpost. I have one fic (my 50th) that I need to add to it but I also want to reorganise it. At the moment, it's broken up into fandom sections but I think I want to arrange it into clearer pairing sections as well because it's sort of like this right now: Dean/Cas - Sam/Dean - Gen - Sam/Dean. And yeah, that's annoying.

And I've said it already but I'll say it again, Happy Birthday gothic_elvis ! *hugs*

I was writing some original fic earlier (where my male main character is totally called Jensen and looks like Jensen but isn't Jensen, not even in AU... xD) and I had left off with them waiting for a sushi delivery. It reminded me that I need to read your fic, so I'll go and do that now! ♥

I, erm, thought the Eurovision results were a bit strange to be honest. I thought the winning song was kind of 'meh' and I wasn't expecting Italy to score quite so highly. *shrugs* I'm never really good at predicting these things, though :)

My original fic is crazy. I used to work on it when I was bored, and somehow it got to 75,000 words of just... self-indulgence of my kinks and romance and... it's so sweet and angsty and never seeing the light of day. *Hugs it tight*

I thought the results were strange too. I did like the fact that it really felt like a race though with so many points going to different countries. Which song did Italy sing? I couldn't even remember!

I'm just about to post some Sam/Dean porn. LOL. XD

Yeah, it was a lot more unpredictable this year all the way through - lots of different results. I can't remember either but I know I sort of tuned out at the time which tells you a lot :D

I can't even imagine if I had discovered LJ whilst studying. I used to work seven days a week, so I don't think I would have been sucked in so hard and fast...
