• I go on holiday on Friday! I'll be away for a week without any internet/computer access so don't worry if you don't hear from me - I'm not ignoring you or anything, I just can't get online to talk. I'm really looking forward to the holiday, actually. The area and cottage where we're going both seem really lovely and it'll be nice to just relax, catch up on reading, go for walks and pub meals and visit the awesome book shop that's near the cottage. I'm going to try and get caught up on writing too - I'm going to need to do some leverage bb writing even though I was planning to get it done before I went because I just haven't made as much progress as I wanted to. Yeah, I'm quite worried about that!
   
• I went to the opticians the other day to get my eyes tested and it turns out I now sometimes need glasses. I only really need to wear them when I'm looking at things from far away so it'll basically just be in lectures at uni. Also, I have "very interesting" eyes. I have small optic nerves (hereditary - from my mum) and I also have some old scar tissue which my old opticians (I've just started at a new place) never noticed. He doesn't think it's anything to worry about so he just needs to check that it hasn't changed next year. My glasses should be ready on Tuesday so I'll try and post a photo.
   
• I had a bit of an argument on twitter with this girl I sort of know in RL. She was being so judgemental about people and it'd been building up for a while so I unfollowed and then she asked me why. I was really proud of the way I handled it though because I explained (intelligently, I think) the reasons why I'd unfollowed her, even though I still think she doesn't really understand. I feel better now tthat I've done it because every time she would tweet something like that I'd feel really uncomfortable because I knew it was horrible.
   
• We've been talking about possibly getting a puppy next summer :D It'll be another golden retriever, hopefully one that's actually related in some way to Kizzie. I know it's a while off yet and not even definite but I'm excited! It'll be so awesome to have a puppy around again and for Kizzie to have another dog to play with - it'll help get rid of some of her energy! We always said we wanted to get another one once Kizzie was a couple of years old so it looks like it'll be happening :D
   
• They're showing all the Harry Potter films on the tv at the moment, one every Saturday so we've been watching them in order which has been cool. Tonight is Azkaban which I haven't watched in ages so I'm looking forward to seeing it tonight. My sister and I were talking about all the different scenes that we would have liked to see in the movies that weren't included. Don't get me wrong, I love the films, I just think seeing some of the scenes we were talking about would be awesome. Some of the ones we mentioned were: the Weasley's going to the Dursleys', Dumbledore visiting Privet Drive, more about the whole Percy storyline, Sirius meeting H,H and R at Hogsmeade...there were more, too :D
   
• I finished The Two Towers! I'm reading The Return of the King now and then I'm done with the books and can start on the movies.
  
   

Hey everyone. How was/is your Sunday? Today has kind of been hectic for me! I'm going to to a bullet post.

• Our TV broke. I have no idea why, it just went off and it won't come on again. We're going to get a new one because it's a very old tv anyway and if we paid to get it fixed it probably wouldn't last much longer. Anyway, tonight and probably tomorrow I'm without a tv and it's kind of weird not just being able to switch the news or whatever on.
• My internet's also been stupid all day. Technology, I'm not impressed with you at the moment.
• So, Jared got twitter. I guess he probably knows what he's getting into - I just hope the good experiences and the interaction with the nice fans outweighs any craxy experiences he might have. In related news, how cute is he! Posting a picture with the moose and having his profile pic be of Jensen and tweeting Misha and Seb and Chad.
• School starts again tomorrow. I'm only there for a week and then, bar exams, I'm officially done. That's really scary. My exam is on Friday. That's even more scary.
• I've pretty much written another big bang over the last few weeks. The Stanford fic is at over 17k now and there's still a lot more to go. Can't believe how long it's going to be.
• Speaking of, big bang posting starts tomorrow! I am so, so excited and nervous about posting mine and excited to read all the fics and see all the art. I'm away away from the 5th-12th August so I'll have to catch up on things posted then when I get back but OMG, I'm excited!
• The list of prompt fics I still have to write is looking better. I have fics for trollmela  and pippii still to write (I'm getting to those soon, I promise) and about a million to write for morgentau  ;) (I promise I'll get to those as soon as I can but because they're extras now I'm going to try and get the others done first.)  
• I wrote a bit more of thebigbangjob but I still haven't outlined it properly. I'm at about 2k now which is okay but I need to get working on it some more once I'm done with my history exam.
